Konya Tandır Etliekmek brings Konya's centuries-old stone oven and tandır tradition to Güneşevler in Altındağ, Ankara. Stone oven etliekmek, melt-in-the-mouth Konya tandır and künefe were already on the tables, yet the brand had no digital presence to tell that story.
The menu, the location and ordering were scattered across phone calls and informal channels. Commission-based third-party platforms suited neither the cost structure nor the brand control the business wanted.
We built a holistic system that takes the brand digital from scratch. It conveys the warmth of Konya cuisine and takes direct, commission-free orders. We owned the whole process, from visual identity to the website, from QR-based table ordering to online delivery.
We started by understanding the menu and the business's real priorities. In front of us was a rich, busy menu. A wide range of etliekmek, grills and tandır, soups and desserts, a full Konya table. It had to be presented in an appetising, easy-to-browse way without scattering it across the screen.
Most competing restaurant sites were either a static PDF menu or a commission-charging third-party ordering platform. The business's expectations were clear:
We structured the system as a single landing page feeding two functional screens. We designed the homepage as a discovery space made up of a video hero, featured flavours, a categorised visual menu, an about section and map-supported contact.
Every card in the menu links directly to the ordering screen without tiring the user. This reduced the distance between the craving moment and the place order action to a single tap.
The two functional screens serve different scenarios. A QR-opened table ordering screen welcomes the in-house guest. An online ordering screen with delivery and takeaway options serves the guest at home.
We drew the brand's spirit from Konya's cultural heritage. The Mevlevi tradition, whirling dervish and tulip motifs, tile patterns and the warmth of the tandır fire all fed the design. To carry that warmth into the digital world, we built the identity on a dark, skin-friendly base with gold and copper as the primary tones.
For typography we chose the warm, rounded Baloo 2 for an appetising character in headings and the highly legible Nunito for menus and body text. The green circular logo gathers the brand's flavour brought from Konya story into a single emblem, with its wheat sheaf composition and a touch of red tulip.

The project's greatest strength is combining two commission-free, direct ordering flows in a single lightweight system.
In the dining room: a QR code on each table opens the ordering screen through a table-specific link. The system validates the table and warns the guest on an invalid one. The guest picks from the menu and sends the order to the kitchen with a single tap, table information included.
At home: the guest chooses delivery with address or takeaway with campaign pricing.
We made the brand's physical flavour felt digitally and gathered every step from promotion to ordering into a single whole.
Together, the visual identity, the website and the QR and online ordering system give the business a commission-free, self-controlled and growth-ready digital foundation.
