Privacy Notice

As Karkiraz Medya ("Karkiraz", "we"), in our capacity as data controller under Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), we process the personal data we obtain through the karkiraz.com website within the scope described below. We prepared this notice to fulfil our duty to inform under Article 10 of the KVKK.

2. Personal Data Processed and Collection Method

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated and partly automated means, when you fill in the contact form on our website, send us an e-mail or visit the site. The data processed:

• Identity / Contact: name, e-mail address, phone number (contact form).
• Request content: the information you share in your message.
• Transaction security / usage data: anonymous site usage statistics obtained via cookies, only if you give your consent (see the Cookie Policy).
• Technical data: because the fonts on our pages are loaded via Google Fonts, your IP address is transmitted to Google's servers as a technical necessity.

3. Purposes of Processing

• Responding to your contact requests and questions, and getting in touch with you,
• Providing information, quotes and consultancy on our services (websites, visuals, video, corporate identity, etc.),
• Evaluating and managing requests, suggestions and complaints,
• Fulfilling our legal obligations and serving as evidence in possible disputes,
• Ensuring the security of the website and measuring and improving its performance (analytics).

The data you submit through the contact form is used only to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

• Your explicit consent. Analytics cookies run only with your consent (Art. 5/1).
• Direct connection with the conclusion or performance of a contract. Communication and quotation processes for your request fall under this ground (Art. 5/2-c).
• Legitimate interest. Management of contact requests and site security fall under this ground (Art. 5/2-f).
• Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç).

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may, limited to the purposes above, be transferred to the suppliers we work with (website hosting and contact form infrastructure providers) and to legally authorised public institutions and organisations.

We use Web3Forms as our contact form infrastructure. The name, e-mail, phone and message details you share in the form are delivered to us by e-mail through this service. This data is used only to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Site usage statistics are processed only with your explicit consent via Google Analytics 4. Due to the nature of this service, your data is transferred abroad (to Google's servers). If you do not consent to analytics cookies, this processing does not take place. For details on cookies, see the Cookie Policy.

The fonts on our site are loaded via Google Fonts. During this loading, your IP address is transmitted to Google's servers abroad as a technical necessity.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed and for the statutory limitation and retention periods set out in the relevant legislation. At the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your Rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
• Request its deletion or destruction within the framework of the legislation,
• Request that correction and deletion be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• Object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis,
• Request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

8. How to Apply

You can submit your requests regarding the rights above, together with information verifying your identity, by e-mail to merhaba@karkiraz.com or in writing to "Hasanoğlan Bahçelievler Mah. 406 Sk. Kapı No: 3B Daire No: 12 Elmadağ/Ankara, Türkiye". Your applications are concluded within at most 30 days under Article 13 of the KVKK.

This Privacy Notice may be updated in line with changes in legislation or our practices. The current version is always published on this page.
